The Doshi Capsule honors Balkrishna Doshi, a revolutionary in post-colonial India who collaborated with Le Corbusier and Louis Kahn to infuse Indian culture and climate-responsive design into a poetic Indo-Western style. India’s first Pritzker Prize laureate, Doshi masterfully fused old and new, hallmarked by modernist architecture with traditional Indian elements like water, courtyards, terracing and the use of local materials.
The Doshi Cluster Ring No. 2 ring's graceful curve mirrors the undulating lines of Sangath, Doshi’s own architectural studio in Ahmedabad. A carefully arranged cluster of diamonds each set in smooth, rounded bezels, evokes the studio's signature domed roofs and fluid design.
